Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary
On 1st October we started the Novena to our Lady of the Rosary and on all Fridays of October the members gathered for Holy Rosary and Intercessory prayers and a Marian Talk by Rev. Brothers and Fathers. On 29th
Oct we concluded with a Grand High Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Ashwin Kumar,smm. a Montfort Priest from Bengaluru, during which our Provincial Superior participated in the celebrations and graced the occasion. There was devout participation by all the members and this month-long prayers and reflections on Mary Mother of God have increased our affinity and faithfulness to her.
Hour of Grace
On Dec 8th we commemorated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and the members gathered in prayer during the Hour of Grace for Prayer. Psalm 51 was recited thrice followed by the Holy Rosary after which we had personal prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
Preparations for Christmas
On 16th Dec, Rev. Fr. Thomas SVD, administered the Sacrament of Reconciliation to the members of MGA at school. This was an initiative to help the members to have a fitting preparation for the coming of our Saviour.
On 21st Dec a Christmas Open Fund Collection from the members of MGA, to Sponsor a meal for the inmates of the Old age Home run by the Brothers of the Missionaries of Charity at Little Mount was done. Few of the members of MGA from our school, visited the home and handed over the collections to the Brothers.
The second term from Oct to Dec 2021 was a quit a short term. Due to the incessant rains in Chennai the month of November was more Online. However the teachers and students actively engaged themselves in all the competitions, activities both online and offline throughout the termmaking every experience a learning process.
